Before you entertain, light and extinguish candles. They will light more quickly and easily later.

Never leave any candles burning unattended and extinguish them when they burn down to within two inches of their holders or decorations.

Avoid putting candles in drafts to prevent rapid and uneven burning and excessive dripping.

If burning more than one candle at a time, especially pillars, arrange them a minimum of two inches a part for proper burning

Always burn candles on protected, heat resistant surfaces away from anything flammable and out of the reach of children and pets.

Never leave a burning candle out of your sight.
